GETTING OHIO IN
THE LEAD AGAIN.
MEET
WEZLYNN
DAVIS
I’m Wezlynn Davis, and I’m running to represent District 86 in the Ohio House. The elections of 2026 and 2028 will be critical for the future of our country and our state. For Ohio to lead again, we need bold, unapologetic conservative leadership in Columbus—and I’m ready to deliver just that.
Proven
Public
Leadership
As a current Jerome Township Trustee, I’ve led one of Ohio’s fastest-growing communities with common-sense, conservative solutions. I’ve:
Balanced budgets
Championed infrastructure investments
Negotiated compensation agreements that ensured our local schools were made whole
Fought against unchecked development and corporate welfare
Pushed for “growth to pay for growth” instead of burdening homeowners with higher taxes
In one of the most complex and fastest-growing townships in the state, I’ve consistently stood on principle while delivering results that protect taxpayers and strengthen communities. I’ve also served as a two-time President of the Union County Township Officials Association and have spent more than a decade as a policy consultant at the Statehouse—working on behalf of small businesses, trade schools, and licensed professionals across Ohio. I’ve been on the front lines of government and know exactly where the system needs to change. I’m honored to be elected to the Union County GOP Central Committee and have served actively on its Executive Committee—helping shape the local approach to elections, candidate support, and party strategy.
Business Leadership and Family Legacy
Not long after my husband and I were married in 2010, we began building a portfolio of businesses while raising our two children—now 10 and 13. These ventures reflect our belief in hard work, service, and leaving a legacy worth passing on.
Our portfolio includes:
A brick-and-mortar aesthetics business, aligned with my professional licensure and focused on advanced skincare services and client education
A consulting firm supporting trade schools and trade-based entrepreneurs across the state, from Cleveland to Cincinnati, with a focus on:
Operational strategy
Curriculum development
Federal accreditation
Liaison services with state regulatory agencies
Policy consulting work advocating for licensed professionals, small businesses in the trades, and educational institutions in front of state legislators and agencies
An investment firm centered on service businesses and commercial facility maintenance companies
These businesses aren’t just about profit—they’re about purpose. Each one represents a commitment to building opportunity through entrepreneurship, advancing the trades, and helping others achieve professional success.
A Voice for Ohio Families
I was raised in a working-class family and got my start in business sweeping floors and stocking shelves in my grandparents’ NAPA Auto Parts store. I’ve never forgotten those early lessons in grit, gratitude, and faith. Today, I’m fighting to preserve those same values for the next generation. As a mother, I’ve had firsthand experience pushing back on radical left-wing ideology being introduced in schools. I fervently reject the notion that the government co-parents with families—and I will never stop fighting to protect children from adult content in classrooms and libraries, while defending a parent’s right to raise their children according to their values.
The Road Ahead
I’m not running to climb the political ladder. I’m running because this is personal—for my family, for your family, and for the future of Ohio. I know that economic strength starts with empowering local communities, defending small businesses and trade schools, and getting government out of the way. My campaign is grounded in that message—and it’s already resonating across Union and Marion Counties. With experienced leadership, conservative principles, and a clear vision, we can restore the promise of Ohio and make our state the best place in America to raise a family, run a business, and retire in peace.
I humbly ask for your support and your vote.
