Davis Delivers for State Representative logo with bold blue, red, and white text

I’m Wezlynn Davis,

and I’m running for State Representative for one simple reason:

Ohio needs leaders who do the work—not politicians who just talk about it.

I am owned by no one. I was raised to answer to God, my family, and the people I serve — not insiders or special interests.

When something is wrong, I don’t posture—I get to work.

That’s why people say Davis Delivers.

Because I do.

Runaway Property Taxes Are Pushing Families to the Brink

Every year, homeowners open their tax bills and wonder how much more they’re expected to take. Property taxes keep climbing while politicians turn a blind eye.

I’m the only candidate in this race who has actually paid property taxes, balanced real budgets, and faced the consequences of bad policy.

Life has gotten more expensive. Families are being punished for doing everything right.

If the citizen-driven abolishment does not go through, I will fight to cap property tax increases, eliminate sweetheart deals and handouts, root out fraud and waste, and cut the state budget so relief comes from real reform—not empty promises.

No more forcing families to tighten their seatbelts while the state refuses to tighten its own.

Why I’m Running

Fraud and Waste Are Stealing From the People Who Need Help Most

A society is judged by how it treats its seniors—and Ohio must do better.

Our seniors built this country.

They built this state.

They worked, paid in, raised families, and played by the rules.

Fraud and waste in Medicaid and other government programs are a moral outrage. When illegal immigrants and scammers exploit the system, they aren’t stealing from the government—they’re stealing from seniors, people with disabilities, working families, and the truly vulnerable.

That’s not compassion.

That’s fraud.

And it’s a massive failure of leadership.

As your State Representative, I will push for real Medicaid audits, stronger eligibility verification, and real consequences for abuse—so resources go where they belong and our seniors are treated with the dignity and respect they have earned.

Taxpayers deserve respect.

Our seniors deserve reverence.

Justice must be served.

Corporate Welfare Is Driving Up Costs—and I Wasn't Afraid to Push Back

While families tighten their belts, big corporations get sweetheart deals, tax abatements, and subsidies—paid for by you.

That’s not economic development.

That’s corporate welfare.

I didn’t just talk about it—I acted. I led the first moratorium on data centers in Central Ohio, pausing massive mega-projects to study the real costs and ask the questions politicians usually avoid:

What are we giving away?

Who benefits?

Who pays when the deal goes bad?

Growth is good.

Blind giveaways are not.

If a company wants to build here, it must be a good neighbor, deliver real value, and respect the people who already live here. That’s how you protect communities and taxpayers.

Weak Elections Put Ohio at Risk—We Must Get Tougher

Joe Biden’s failures have consequences. Open borders strain communities, drive up costs, and put public safety at risk. Weak election laws undermine trust and leave our system vulnerable.

As your State Representative, I will:

  • Support paper ballots in every election so every vote is verifiable and auditable

  • Push stronger security to protect Ohio elections from artificial intelligence and foreign interference

  • Work to end mail-in voting, which has weakened confidence and opened the door to abuse

I support President Trump’s priorities on border security and election integrity because Ohio voters deserve a system that is secure, transparent, and fair.

I will not back down.

I will defend the rule of law and the rights of Ohio voters.

Leadership Means Results

Leadership means telling the truth.

Doing the work.

Standing firm—even when it upsets the status quo.

I’ve done it before.

I’ll do it again.

Davis Delivers.

Real-Life Experience: Results You Can Measure

I am the only candidate in this race who has:

  • Owned a home and paid property taxes

  • Started businesses and met payroll

  • Led the first moratorium on data centers in the State of Ohio

  • Pushed back on corporate welfare and held mega-corporations accountable to pay their fair share

  • Protected neighborhoods from reckless development

  • Ensured public safety equipment was fully funded without one single taxpayer dollar

  • Is a parent of two, raising kids right now and actively pushing back on the cultural pressures in our schools, including firsthand experience engaging school boards on policy and curriculum

  • Served as a Township Trustee in one of the fastest-growing townships in Ohio

  • Served two terms as President of the Union County Township Officials Association

  • Is a proud trade school graduate

I don’t just make promises.

I have a track record of delivering results.

That’s why people say Davis Delivers—because I do.
